As experts in network cabling installation Global Point’s team has installed cable plants in several states for almost any type of application. Voice, video, data, security, paging and wireless are among the applications we have enabled through our installations.  We provide a total solution for premise cabling needs.


Services we provide are:

 
  • Initial needs assessment - With Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) capabilities on-staff, Global Point can assist in assessing your complete needs. Our approach will look at not only your immediate applications but will also take into account future applications, future growth of your organization and possible technology changes which would impact your cabling needs. Considerations like type of equipment, load balancing and redundancy will be factored into our cost/benefit analysis.
  • Site Surveys - Global Point technicians are available to conduct comprehensive site surveys to accurately assess the layout and conditions impacting the environment. Factors such as structural layout of the facility, building codes and safety and physical security issues are among the conditions that will be incorporated into the final design. Critical data gathered in the site survey will be incorporated into the final site management plan.
 
  • Pre-job Construction - Our capabilities allow us to perform many construction activities which may be required before a job begins. This would include installing telecommunications closets, core drilling, installing cable support hardware, conduit trays, rack installation, mounting equipment, as well as other functions.
  • Cabling Installation - We can install a wide variety of transmission media including copper, fiber optic, twisted pair, baseband and broadband as well as associated components. We also install a variety of wireless applications including 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g cameras, wifi VoIP.
  • Testing - Global Point tests and certifies all of our installations to meet or exceed industry standards, meet all of the manufacturer's specifications as well as meet all the warranty requirements.

 

  • Moves/Adds/Changes - Global Point can support your cable plant for the entire life cycle of the installation. Our experience ranges from changing a single drop to rewiring an entire floor.
